Job Description – Sales Position

This is a lead generation, outside sales and networking position. We have leads but not enough so you become an order taker. It’s all about saying “YES” to the customer and purposeful activity. We want Hunters that want to lead. We want sales people who want to become sales managers.

Job Description:

Five Star in-home sales reps are responsible for lead generation running set appointments, inspecting, estimating and closing on contracts. Robust knowledge of Five Star materials and building processes will be trained in house. Once training is complete, sales representatives will drive to appointments and run through the Five Star offerings, providing an excellent experience to homeowners, and helping them with their dream projects. Sales people can enjoy challenging new projects on a daily basis as they navigate the world of custom home building services.

Requirements

Licensing: Reps must carry an active Washington driver license.

Physical: Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds. Must have the capacity to inspect existing structure in all weather. No College is necessary.

Experience: Performance at a current or previous in-home sales jobs (required). Minimum 1-years experience of in-home sales.

Transportation:

Reliable transportation that meets company standards is required. Five Star will require a fitted company paid for company sign magnate on the reps vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed. Your goal is to perform so you can drive a company vehicle after three months of service

Benefits

Pay: First 2 months a salary provided with commissions.

Training pay provided.

Commission – Base Pay after two months

Mid-Tier reps average closing percentage is 40%, with top reps closing at 45%.

After 3 months of success a company vehicle will be provided.

Requirements

To join our team, we ask that you meet the following essential requirements, which reflex our commitment to safety and professionalism: NO drug tests or background check is required. A valid Drivers license and proof of insurance is required.

Experience:

Assistant crew member: 1+ year experience in framing, carpentry, or deck/siding building.

Crew Member: 6 months + experience in a building trades position. Ability to read a tape measure and identify tools.

Transportation:

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to ensure consistent on-time arrival to job sites.

Communication: Excellent communication skills written and verbal. Must have a working cell phone.

Physical Requirements:

The ability to bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds with prolonged standing.

In your position as a Crew Leader, you will assume the responsibility of leading your team and overseeing the installation of top quality structures. As a Crew Leader, your main duties include communicating the schedule with your team, effectively reading building plans, successfully installing projects, and communicating project updates and outcomes to customers. As a Crew Leader you will lead by example and serve as the driving force behind the achievement of structure construction goals. Your role not only involves managing the structure builds process but also upholding the company’s core values and being a positive representation of these values.

As a Crew Leader, you will familiarize yourself with the software and processes implemented to facilitate the construction of structures at a high level. This includes using tools such as Spreadsheets, and other relevant software programs.
